The Baltimore 10 Miler

“It’s downhill from here, right?”

A Cure for the Summertime Blues

In the hustle and bustle surrounding the Mylan Relay for Hope, I neglected to mention that I was registered for the Sole of the City 10k, which was this morning. When I first registered for it, I was thinking it would be a good warm up race for the Frederick Half Marathon (which is in 2 weeks). I thought maybe… just maybe… I could squeeze out a PR. Training this winter and spring has been going very well, and even though I am still about 10 pounds heavier than when I set my current 10k (48:16) and half marathon (1:53:20) PRs, I thought I had a shot.
